LOS COYOTES MOUNTAINS

This Los Coyote photograph pictures the main road that winds through the Los Coyotes reservation, March 2006, about 5,500 feet above sea level.

The photographer, GARY G. BALLARD, KUMEYAAY.INFO founder and webmaster, took this historical photograph on the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation during a photo assignment.

The pictures shows snow-covered San Diego mountaintops about two weeks after a major snow storm dumped over 36 inches of snow in the area and shut down the reservation and surrounding communities.
