El Cajon California Ranch Postcard 1800s 1900s

This antique hand-colored postcard of a ranch scene in El Cajon, California, (in San Diego County) was postmarked 1912. The rustic turn-of-the-century landscape pictures a ranch house, windmill, grazing cattle, dirt road and farm fields.

Though the old postcard is titled "Ranch Scene Near The Cottonwood, San Diego County California" it looks a lot like the Singing Hills Country Club and Resort near the Sycuan Indian Reservation.
