OLD ADOBE BRICK WALL Pottery Ollas

Color photograph pictures an old adobe wall in Baja California ranch storeroom, and new Yuman style California Indian clay pottery made in 2005 by Manuela Aguiar, Kumiai Pai-Pai indigenous artist of the Native American Indian community of Santa Catarina, east of Ensenada.

Manuela and the Kumeyaay Kumiai Paipai Native American people of this tribal area are well known for their traditional Indian pottery made and pit fired in their old Indian ways.

Manuela, a famous traditional Indian artist, is featured in Paul D. Campell's book, "Survival Skills of Native California."
