Production, Technical, Artificial Intelligence:

2026: No AI was used in the creation or development of my websites or my content -- I've always done my own camera work, post production, research, writing, design, tech and site ADMIN -- and followed my own CREATIVE vision.

I am the only person who ever actually worked on these websites.

All my web pages are html1 -- some of the newer Web browsers don't seem to be able to faithfully display html1 on certain devices.

Try changing Web Browsers if one is giving issues.

KI is a creative MULTI MEDIA web site best experienced with fast broadband internet connection and a desktop computer with a 4K or 5K monitor resolution.

2004:

The KI site was originally designed and built by Gary G. Ballard on an Apple computer Mac®, System 10.3, using Adobe GoLive®7, Photoshop®8, ImageReady®8, and Illustrator®11, Microsoft Word®, Apple's FinalCutPro®3 and QuickTime®6, and MenuMachine®.

2026:

My publishing workstation is a Mac mini 2011 with hacked drivers to support macOS 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, Adobe GoLive CS2, and CS6 Photoshop -- to maintain and update my websites.

And I've put over more 800 hours on that "ancient" workstation since upgrading my sites to SSL/HTTPS last July 2025, including updating over 1,000 pages, and moving selected pages of CALIE.org content over to my Kumeyaay server in 2026.

My 2026 production workstation is a 2019 iMac 5k 27" running Mojave 10.14.6 (for Photoshop CS6) with 128GB RAM, 2TB NVMe SSD.

My PLAY Mac is a 2023 M3 iMac with 24GB RAM and 2TB SSD running Tahoe 26.

These sites are still interesting to me to work on and I still enjoy telling the best stories I can and updating my earlier work.
