Forged Heart is my blacksmith moniker or trade name. I chose Forged Heart as a symbolic new beginning, following my heart and creative gifts.

I specialize in colonial, primitive American smithing, mostly forged blades, tools and ironwork. Custom knives are my passion.

A descendent of the Miami and Iroquois Nations, I was not raised in the Indian way, in fact, I only recently discovered that my great grandfather was an Iroquois holy man or tribal shaman. This was in Indiana territory during the 1840s.

I take pride in my Native American heritage and in my blacksmithing and use hammer and anvil and forge in recreating that period of time as I can, to pass it on.
