Kumeyaay Singer Stan Rodriguez

Traditional Kumeyaay singer Dr. Stan Rodriguez of the Santa Ysabel Band of Diegueño Indians (U.S.), made the drive to his wife's ejido in Mexico and sang California Kumeyaay indigenous Yuman songs at the San Jose de la Zorra Kumeyaay Fiesta despite rainy weather and bad roads on March 19, 2006.

Stan's Kumeyaay wife (Marta) is from the remote San Jose de la Zorra Indian village.
